Microsoft uses what they call 'Auto Complete' to save usernames and passwords. When you visit a web site with a saved username and password, they show up just like the picture to the left shows.
Since Internet Explorer does not allow you to view the saved passwords and all you can see in the Internet Explorer window are asterisks (look to the picture on the left. They often appear as ***** as well), you must seek help elsewhere. That's where we come in!
